Information to students: Candidates have to register through their schools or registered centres. Online registration by individual candidates will not be considered. If registered, the enrolment will be treated as invalid. The students can request their school to register as a centre for which there is no registration fee.
Appeal to parents: Please request the schools in which the student is studying to register as a centre. In case the school is not willing to register then contact the nearest NSE centre and request for an enrolment. IAPT can only make an appeal to all centres to enrol such interested students but cannot make it mandatory.
Appeal to centre in-charge / Principals: On behalf of all parents and students, IAPT appeals to you all to encourage students from other schools to enrol in the NSE. Please treat this is a service to students to realise their dream and retain interest in science in particular and academics in general.

The Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) was established in the year 1984 by the great visionary, (Late) Dr. D. P. Khandelwal, with active support from some Physics teachers, with the aim of upgrading the quality of Physics teaching and Physics teachers at all levels. It has now grown into a major organisation with about 6500 life members spread all over about 1500 organisations throughout the country including about 100 members from abroad. The members include school, college, university teachers, research workers, science administrators and science savvy enthusiasts. For its grass root working, the country is divided into 20 regions, each with a regional council. The apex excecutive council, co-ordinates and directs the effort at the national level.

All IAPT work is voluntary, No remuneration is paid to its members for any IAPT activity.
